Our Mission
To advance women’s health by creating awareness, breaking stigmas in society, and uniting local agencies and providers through collaboration and advocacy to focus and prioritize initiatives.
The health of a mother and a child is more telling measure of a nation's state than economic indicators.
About
Our Vision
To live in a world where women's health is destigmatized and progressing to provide a sustainable comfort for all women.
Our Story
In these progressing times, where cures are being found and discoveries are being made, working on a woman’s health is vital. As Michelle Obama once said, “Communities and countries and ultimately the world are only as strong as the health of their women”. Women work relentlessly to help our communities prosper and act as the backbone to society. Every mother, sister, and daughter plays a role in educating our nation and moving us forward. A woman’s reach is endless as Brigham Young said, "You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation”.
Being females growing up with many health classes throughout our education starting as early as elementary school, we have been privileged to be informed about our own bodies and we understand that this knowledge is not as readily available for many others. We make it our duty to use this organization and platform to share the knowledge that we have with the help of professionals. Even more than that, we want to bring awareness to topics so our advancing world can initiate more positive change in this space. Because we want all women to be comfortable with their bodies, understanding of their anatomy, and most importantly, be empowered with knowledge so that they can continue to be a driving force towards a better world.
Meet our team
Akshita Tripathi
Hi, I'm Akshita, a.k.a. a lacrosse playing, avid-reader and film enthusiast. Other than that, I am an activist, woman's rights defender, and a passionate teenager. As a senior at University High School, I have spent my years of schooling learning about my society and the injustices around the world. Through that knowledge and my own experiences, being an immigrant, I have built years of discontent with the information around women's health. As apart of my civic duty and passions, I founded HW4BW to battle the realities of an uninformed or misinformed society. Joined with numerous other talented and passionate women, I am able to spread awareness and help women through this organization and will keep going till all women are empowered and informed.
